Small Groups at Cedar Creek

The Challengers Group

Current Study: Isaiah

Do you ever look at the world and wonder what good could possibly come out of it? The Old Testament prophet Isaiah wrestled with the same questions. Isaiah raises a cry for revival in the midst of a rotting society. He challenges us to shape up and love God with all our hearts and minds.

This group is led by teacher Bob Hartman. They meet every Sunday morning at 9:00am in the corner classroom behind the sanctuary.

The Adventurers Group

Current Study: Revelation

While The Adventurers Group addresses various topics related to Christian living throughout the year, they are currently joining The Bridges Group as they work through the Book of Revelation.

The Adventurers are led by teacher Jeanette Fillers. They meet every Sunday morning at 9:00am in classroom 1 of the educational wing.

The Crusaders Group

Current Study: The Justice of God

Do you look at the daily headlines only to ask yourself, "Where is the God of mercy and justice we read about in the Bible?" Throughout the Spring of 2022, this group is wrestling with the Biblical topic of justice and in particular, how God's justice applies to our lives as followers of Jesus.

This group is led by teacher Gary Waddell. They meet every Sunday morning at 9:00am in large room directly behind the sanctuary.

The Bridges Group

Current Study: The Book of Revelation

The Bible's last book often gets a bad rap. While some claim Revelation is nothing but doom and gloom, it is actually a book of hope! Revelation's central message is that God and good will win over evil, no matter how bad things look now. This book of the Bible encourages us to live committed, holy lives if we want to participate in God’s victorious kingdom. The aim of this small group is to understand and apply Revelation's message of hope.

This group is led by Warren Shelton. They meet every Sunday morning at 9:00am in room 4 of the educational wing.

Sunday Morning Teens

Current Study:

This small groups studies the Bible and Christian living from the perspective of today's teenager. The group is led by Luke Shelton. They meet every Sunday morning at 9:00am in the youth room across from the C.A.C.

We also have nursery care and elementary classes every Sunday morning! Please take advantage of the many opportunities to fellowship with other believers and grow in your faith at Cedar Creek COG.
