In his first epistle, the apostle Peter encourages suffering believers that through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we have the confident assurance of a new life, allowing us to live boldly for the faith against all odds. Because our hope is a living hope, we can grow in individual and corporate holiness and find our suffering to be a place of fellowship with Christ.
